Opening the covers to observe the process or forcibly removing protective structures while printing is strictly prohibited; particular care must be taken to avoid looking directly at the light source (whether LED UV or mercury lamps) while it is active.
UV inks are chemical substances containing potentially irritating ingredients; operators should avoid direct skin contact and the inhalation of vapors. Gloves should be worn when refilling ink or cleaning printheads, and the workspace must be well-ventilated. In the event of skin contact, the affected area should be washed immediately with clean water to prevent prolonged exposure.
During operation, printheads and platforms move at high speeds; inserting hands or foreign objects into the motion zone is strictly prohibited to prevent crushing injuries or collisions. Furthermore, the power supply must be disconnected before performing maintenance or repairs to avoid electric shock or accidental startup. Routine checks should also be conducted to ensure the integrity of electrical wiring and grounding, as well as the proper functioning of the emergency stop button.
UV printers should be installed in a dry, well-ventilated, and dust-free environment to prevent high temperatures or humidity from compromising equipment stability. After prolonged use, components such as guide rails, fans, and ink delivery systems should be cleaned regularly to prevent dust accumulation from impairing heat dissipation or operational precision.
