Additionally, the ink system must be protected from air ingress; ink cartridges and tubing must remain tightly sealed to prevent air bubbles from causing ink interruption or uneven jetting.
Mechanical maintenance covers components such as guide rails, slider blocks, and the drive system. These parts require regular dust removal and lubrication to ensure smooth movement and precise positioning. Dust accumulation or insufficient lubrication on guide rails can lead to issues like print misalignment or ghosting.
