Digital printer specifications are typically used to gauge a device's overall performance and scope of application, encompassing key metrics such as print size, resolution, speed, printhead configuration, and material compatibility.

 

Print size is a crucial parameter determining the device's intended use cases. Common specifications range from small A4 and A3 desktop models to mid-sized units (such as 6090 or 1610 models) and up to industrial-grade large-format machines (with widths exceeding 2 meters). Larger print sizes are better suited for sectors like advertising, packaging, and industrial manufacturing.

 

Resolutions typically start at 1440×720 DPI or higher. Higher resolution yields sharper image details but often results in slower printing speeds. Additionally, the printhead's minimum droplet size (e.g., 3.5pl, 5pl, or 7pl) is a critical factor that directly influences the fineness and quality of the printed image.

 

Print speed and printhead configuration are also key specifications. Speed ​​is generally measured in square meters per hour (m²/h), ranging from a few square meters for entry-level models to tens of square meters for industrial-grade machines. The type and number of printheads (such as piezoelectric heads from Epson or Ricoh) determine the device's productivity and stability, with different configurations corresponding to different equipment tiers.

 

Functional and compatibility specifications include color channels (CMYK + white ink + varnish), material compatibility (paper, PVC, acrylic, metal, etc.), and support for features such as automatic cleaning, white ink circulation, and vacuum bed suction. Collectively, these specifications define the digital printer's overall performance and application capabilities.
